True And Enduring Significance Part III

How must we live to attain enduring significance in the eyes of God and man?

We must live as stewards of what God had given to us, and made of us.

Today is as good as any day to start with the right priorities.

In the words of Alfred Lord Tennyson in “Ulysses”: “…though much is taken, much abides…” And with what abides, we have an opportunity to reflect the glory of God wherever we are placed in life.

The Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13 that age brings with it maturity in thought and deed. It is time to reset our priorities to match up with the Master’s business if indeed He is our Lord.

In this era of relativism and compromise, what do you stand for? And will you be prepared to hold on to your beliefs and principles as a Christian, and defend them, even if you may end up paying a price such as the loss of your position, business, or money?

I know firsthand how it feels to stand alone for principle, and how devastating it is when dire consequences follow. But I also know firsthand that God delivers and protects the one who takes a stand for Him.

May your life speak of significance in the sight of God, and may men be drawn to the light of His salvation because of you.
